URGENT UPDATE on SB 277
To Be Voted Upon The Assembly Floor – TODAY.
Rumors of Governor Brown signing soon!
SB 277 will be voted on by the Assembly on TODAY, June 25th.
Two CA State Senators in opposition to SB 277 have alerted the California Coalition for Health Choice (CCHC) of a rumor going around late today in the Capitol. The rumor states that right after the Assembly Floor vote tomorrow, SB 277 would be taken over to the Senate to have the new amendments reconciled and voted on. This would be very atypical but has been known to occur in certain circumstances.

The rumor also mentions that the bill will go to Governor BrownFriday, June 26 in the afternoon where he would likely sign it immediately in the hopes of ending the controversy this bill has stirred up since February and avoiding the barrage of parental calls, emails and letters asking for a veto.
Please send your opposition letters, emails, faxes, and calls to Governor Brown and staff Donna Campbell today!

Legislation was passed, almost unanimously this year allowing half a million homeless children to attend school without proof of vaccinations.
 
If half a million unvaccinated homeless children aren’t a threat to public health, why are 200,000 children missing as little as one vaccine dose, considered a threat?
 
It makes no sense, they are not a threat to public health.  Please tell your member his constituents want him/her to vote NO or Abstain on SB 277.
